Providing a personalized patient experience

The Objective and Challenge

Initially Highland Springs was experiencing a high client turnover rate and wanted to come up with a solution to help service their clientele better. They wanted to produce a product that made their services more accessible and focused on the needs of their patients. We built a system that helps match patients with a suitable therapist without the hassle of seeing someone new each time going in. Then after each appointment, providers can log in and follow-up with their patients regarding their services.

Valuable Feedback

A list of questions was generated to cross examine therapists’ skill sets and top patient needs to determine the foundation of the algorithm used within the app. Strategizing how everything came together had two user flows to think through:

•   How clients interacted with the front end application to match with therapists

•   How therapists viewed these interactions from their dashboard or database on the backend

Retrospection

When the app was initially designed, the branding of Highland Springs was applied to each screen utilizing heavy nature photography and the color scheme they were currently using on their site. After presenting the UI to them, they informed the team they were undergoing the process of rebranding and updating all marketing assets, as well as their site. Once we received assets of this new look, the UI screens were re skinned and the app took on an entirely different feel.
